Prom season is here! Once again Erin is collecting prom dresses, turnabout, homecoming, old bridesmaid, mother of the bride and semi-formal dresses. She also collects men’s suits, sports jackets, dress pants, and ties. We are looking for all sizes!!!
Erin collects and donates all items to those with developmental disabilities so they can enjoy the excitement of being able to pick out an outfit to go to prom. This prom is for adults with developmental disabilities and is held every year. Erin started this last year after going to see her Uncle at his prom and saw that many didn’t have a prom dress or suit and wanted them to feel how she did when she got dressed up for her dances. All items are borrowed and then returned so they can be borrowed again. We have someone who stores all the dresses and then allows the individuals to come and browse for the perfect dress for prom. If you have any items you can donate please let me know so we can arrange a pick up time. Also in the past we have set up days where we have a drop off sight we may do that again.
